Ring Burners[1][2] are enemies in Super Mario 3D World and its port They are encountered in Cakewalk Flip, Rainbow Run, and Champion's Road only. When a Ring Burner is approached, it blasts either square or circular plasma rings outward from their centers. They have the same insignia commonly found on Bill Blasters and closely resemble Ball Beamers from Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 in both appearance and function. As with Sentry Beams, Ring Burners can be disabled as long as the player stands on one. They cannot be destroyed by any means.
