The Surfing Game in both versions of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga

The Surfing Game, also known as the surfing minigame,[1] is a minigame in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake. It can be played from the southeastern region of Oho Ocean, where there is a green Oho Jee who will explain the rules and ask if they want to play. The game begins next to the island, with Mario surfing on Luigi in surfboard form. The object is to pop 23 Oho Balloons as fast as possible. The prizes for the game are awarded for the clearing time. At some point in the minigame, the player will come across explosive barrels that will launch Mario and Luigi into the air if they touch them, which also slows them down, costing them time. This is the one of the two minigames in the game that does not award the player with Hee Beans at all, the other being Splart.

The following rewards are given for completing the minigame, based on completion time:
