Template:Species-infobox A Bowling Goonie[1] is a flightless Hefty Goonie that rolls around as their method of travel. They cause damage if they roll into Yoshi, and can be defeated with a Ground Pound. Flying Hefty Goonies will also turn into wingless Bowling Goonies if one gets swallowed and then spat out or if hit by an egg. Unlike Hefty Goonies, Bowling Goonies cannot be eaten in this state. They first appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. They also appear in Yoshi's New Island.
