Hoohoo Village is a small village on the base of Hoohoo Mountain during the events of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. The eccentric Hoohooligans live here and there are many caves and passageways linking different places in the village. The Hammerhead Bros. also make their home here, before relocating to East Beanbean later in the game. Blablanadon lives here and serves as a transport to the top of the mountain. The inhabitants of this village apparently use or used an ancient language called Hooroglyphs as seen on walls of various areas of the village. During their first visit here, Mario and Luigi are mistaken for the one who kidnapped Prince Peasley, only for Tolstar, who had previously been beaten by Mario and Luigi, to appear and clear their names. The bridge to Hoohoo Mountain is also being repaired at the time of their arrival. To trigger the bridge to be fixed, the player has to meet the Hammerhead Bros. and talk to the bottom builder at the bridge in the village.

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, Captain Goomba and the other minions visit the village in The Amnesiac Koopa King, searching for Bowser. A Hoohooligan tells them that Bowser followed Popple, who had stolen food from one of the houses.
