Pokey Pummel is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 7, Mario Party: The Top 100, and Mario Party Superstars.
Introduction
The players are standing in a desert when four Pokeys rise out of the ground. Hammers then appear in the players' hands.
Gameplay
The players must smack the Pokeys as fast as they can to send their segments flying; each segment takes five hits (three in Mario Party: The Top 100). The first player to knock away the head wins. If no one completely smacks their Pokey within five or three minutes in Mario Party 7 or Mario Party Superstars, respectively, the minigame will end in a tie.
In Mario Party 7, this is one of the minigames that can appear in Decathlon Castle. Here, the player's objective is to knock out the Pokey's segments as fast as possible to earn as many points as possible, up to 1,000. It also appears in The Top 100's Half Decathlon as the second minigame.
Ending
In Mario Party 7 and Superstars, as soon as one player finishes, the other Pokeys sink into the ground, and the winner celebrates; in Mario Party 7, the camera zooms in on them. If a tie occurs in both games, all players will perform losing animations.
