Mario and Luigi outside Beanbean Castle

Beanbean Castle is the home of Queen Bean, Lady Lima, Prince Peasley and possibly other royalty and servants. It is the center of the Beanbean Kingdom. Once the Bros. get to the castle they find two Beanbean troops who try to play along with the Mario Bros., yet have absolutely no clue what they're talking about. The troops almost refuse to let them in until Luigi shows them Peasley's Rose, and they are permitted entry. Later, to earn Lady Lima's trust and get to Queen Bean, the Bros. must fix the plumbing under the castle. Once they fix the plumbing, Cackletta, revealing that she was disguised as Lady Lima, and Fawful gain access to the Beanstar. Beanbean Castle Town is the town that is near the castle and has many useful shops. The castle is key in the game, and the home of the Beanstar. The Mario Bros. come here several times in between tasks to talk to Queen Bean and the others to gain information.

Enemies

Chest of Knowledge

It has been requested that this section be rewritten and expanded to include more information. Reason: Are there more tips?

According to a Pea, the rightmost room in the castle is called the Chest of Knowledge and has a lot of useful tips for travelers. The room has four books which are left by adventurers who once visited the castle. The books read:

  • If you strike monsters with your Hammer as you enter battle, they'll be stunned at the fight's start.
  • Once you successfully perform a Bros. Attack multiple times, you will understand Advanced Commands...
  • The higher your Stache points are, the easier it is to get lucky hits in battle.
  • When the shopkeepers in this land see a fine, smooth mustache, they become strangely generous...
