The Sport Bike is a Bike body that appears in Mario Kart 8. It resembles a bike which is used in the Moto GP. The Sport Bike has good acceleration and handling stats, but its weight and especially grip stats are poor. The character's logo is at the center of the front side and there is another logo next to the exhaust pipe. It changes its varnish depending on its driver. It has the same stats as the Comet, the Yoshi Bike, and the Jet Bike.

The Sport Bike bears similarities to the Mach Bike from Mario Kart Wii.

Varnish types

The Sport Bike has three different varnish types. All three of these are used by multiple characters.

The first varnish is red and dark blue. A Bullet Bill sign and Chain Chomp Lettering are on both sides.

The second varnish type is green with white trim. It has advertisements for 1-Up Racing and Lemmy's Tire Service. A 1-Up Mushroom adorns the front of the bike.

The third varnish type is yellow and orange. It has signs for "Peach & Daisy Royal Pâtisserie" and "Princess Orange" on it. This varnish is mainly used by females and Donkey Kong is the only male to use the yellow and orange varnish.
