Is the Sport Bike the "standard" inside drifting bike?

In the PRIMA guide of Mario Kart 8, inside drifting bikes are known as sport bikes, since the Sport Bike share this name, and since it has the appearance of real-life vehicles like other standard vehicles, can the Sport Bike be considered the "standard" inside drifting bike in Mario Kart 8?--Mister Wu (talk) 18:10, 30 August 2015 (EDT)

Prima guide may have called them "sport bikes" just for the ease of naming them. Either way, I don't see the importance to call the Sport Bike the "standard" inside drifting bike. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 14:48, 31 August 2015 (EDT)

Sorry for being ultra late to the party, but today in MK8DX, I've seen Koopa Troopa in a offline Grand Prix match using the Sport Bike with the Standard Tires and the Super Glider. i've been thinking about it since May 2017, but after seeing this today, I started considering that the Sport Bike is actually the standard inside drifting bike. much more.
