The #1 Trousers are gear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions that can be worn by both Mario and Luigi. Having them equipped allows the brother to start the battle able to move first, regardless of Speed stat. In the original, they gives a DEF boost, being 35 points in the original, and 45 points in the Japanese version. In the remake, they instead give 10 BP and 52 speed. In the original, they can be purchased in the Beanbean Castle Town Clothes Shop. In the remake, they can be obtained in the southern part of Beanbean Fields.
