Circuit Special is a kart body in Mario Kart 8. It resembles a Formula One car, similar to the Sprinter (B Dasher Mk. 2 in the PAL regions and Japan) from Mario Kart Wii. It offers a speed and weight boost, but it hinders in acceleration and especially grip; it shares its stats with the Sports Coupe and the Mach 8. The Circuit Special comes in 3 color schemes: the standard blue and white finish with ads for Boomerang Brothers Airlines; a yellow, gray, and purple finish, and a green and white one with signs of 1-Up Racing and Galaxy Airlines on it.
