The players are standing in front of a giant tree that contains [[beehive|honeycomb]]s, [[fruit]]s, and (in the ''Mario Party 2'' version only) [[coin]]s. The player has to catch fruit in their basket by hitting a slow [[Dice Block]] and getting either a 1 or 2 each time. However, players have to avoid the honeycombs. When a player gets a honeycomb, some [[bee]]s come out and chase the player out of the minigame. If a player hits a 2 on the Dice Block but gets a honeycomb first, only the honeycomb will count while the fruit or coin will remain on the tree for the next player. The last player standing wins.

Honeycomb Havoc is a 4-Player minigame found in Mario Party 2, Mario Party: The Top 100, and Mario Party Superstars.

The gameplay is based on nim. Players try to catch fruit in their basket by hitting a slow Dice Block moving between a 1 and a 2 each turn.[1][2][3] There are also Coins to collect, but not in the Mario Party Superstars version. Players try to avoid honeycombs, as by getting one, bees emerge and chase that player away, removing them from the minigame. The last player remaining wins. In the Mini-Game Coaster in Mario Party 2, the goal for the human player is to avoid getting a honeycomb.

It costs 150 Coins to buy the minigame from Woody in Mario Party 2.
