Cat Bomber Bill: Difference between revisions

The SMM2 tidbit and the SM3DW filename, since they are the same for Cat Banzail Bills and Bull's-Eye Banzai, could mean that they share the same function (targeting Mario) and should be seen as equivalents rather than one being the derivative of the other. Both can then be seen as targeting derivatives of the normal Banzai Bill.) |

Cat Banzai Bills, or Cat Bomber Bills,[1] are a type of Banzai Bill under the effects of a Super Bell. Their lower half is white, reminiscent of a tuxedo cat. Cat Banzai Bills first appear in Super Mario 3D World and its port. They are launched from Banzai Bill Cannons and can lock on to the player character, making them equivalent to Bull's-Eye Banzais. Cat Banzai Bills sometimes drop a Super Bell upon defeat. Cat Banzai Bills are the game's only cat enemies that do not make any meowing sounds.
Cat Banzai Bills make their first and only appearance in The Bullet Bill Express of World 3, earlier than Banzai Bills, which debut in Mystery House Mad Dash of World 4.
Cat Banzai Bills return as course elements in the Super Mario 3D World style of Super Mario Maker 2, replacing Bull's-Eye Banzais (written as a form of Bull's-Eye Banzai despite still being announced as Banzai Bill), but cannot be set to fire from the background, unlike their counterparts.
