Richard "Rick" Jones is a Canadian voice actor, voice director, writer and content developer. He was the voice actor of Polly Roger in the Donkey Kong Country television series
Jones originally obtained an undergrad in biology and worked on thesis in geology, in which he discovered two new species of microfossil.[1] A friend of Jones that was working at Carleton university radio station asked Jones to do a voice for an ad,[1] which later led to helping him start his career. Jones has worked for Alphanim, Cinar and Nelvana, and has been nominated for a Gemini Award twice in 1988 and 2003.[2]
