Kōichi Yamadera is a Japanese actor, voice actor, narrator and singer that is from Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.[2] He was the Japanese voice actor for Donkey Kong in the Donkey Kong Country television series. During the series' run, Koichi Yamadera and Mika Kanai (the Japanese voice actress of Candy Kong from the same show) were married to each other.
