Bunson the Hot Dog's Castle is the eighth level of World 2 in Yoshi's Woolly World and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World, where Bunson the Hot Dog is fought.
Layout[edit]
The level starts with some flames, followed by a door. After a series of rising and falling platforms and some Shy Guys, the first Hot Dog appears, followed by another soon after. After yet another Hot Dog, there are rising-falling platforms and some added flames, with the second normal door soon after. This leads to the first checkpoint. What follows are more flames, along with a few more rising-falling platforms. After a while, there is a vertical climb leading to another door and the second checkpoint. After a series of rising-falling platforms and Hot Dogs, as well as many more flames, there is yet another vertical climb, followed by the boss door.
Collectibles[edit]
Smiley Flowers[edit]
- Smiley Flower 1: Up above just after the second Hot Dog are two edible walls, and in between them there is a key leading to a Locked Door below. Entering the Locked Door leads Yoshi to the Smiley Flower.
- Smiley Flower 2: In a hidden Winged Cloud just below the second normal door.
- Smiley Flower 3: Right after the first checkpoint, there is a hidden Winged Cloud that Yoshi can hit with a yarn ball that can provide access to the Smiley Flower just below.
- Smiley Flower 4: Upon entering a green warp pipe to the left of the vertical segment, Yoshi enters a secret area with many Hot Dogs. Touching the exclamation mark will reveal many beads that Yoshi has to collect to reveal the Smiley Flower.
- Smiley Flower 5: Just before the second vertical climb; however, it is difficult to get considering that there are two rows of flames moving against Yoshi. Yoshi must avoid them to collect the Smiley Flower.
Wonder Wools[edit]
- Wonder Wool 1: At one of the rising-falling platforms near the second Shy Guy that sinks into the lava.
- Wonder Wool 2: At the rising-falling platforms below the third Hot Dog. It too submerges into the lava, so Yoshi has to be careful.
- Wonder Wool 3: Surrounded by breakable blocks just over the rising-falling platforms submerging into the lava. Yoshi must carefully ground pound to obtain it.
- Wonder Wool 4: Up above a rising-falling platform with a Shy Guy on it just before the vertical climb.
- Wonder Wool 5: To the left of the second vertical climb, in a hidden alcove.
Collecting all of the Wonder Wools knits Bunson the Yoshi back together.
