Once his HP is reduced to half, he will be knocked down to the ground and stunned for a while. After the Bros. defeat Glohm Bowser, he will fall down and revert back to Bowser himself.

Glohm Bowser is a form that Bowser takes after being infused with Glohm by the Zok Troops' Glohmatic Quad-Ray in Mario & Luigi: Brothership.
