Ring Burners[1][2] are robotic enemies that appear in Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. They appear in only three levels: Cakewalk Flip, Rainbow Run, and Champion's Road. When the player comes close to one of these enemies, they blast either square or circular plasma rings outward from their centers. They have the same insignia commonly found on Bill Blasters and closely resemble the earlier Ball Beamers from Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel Super Mario Galaxy 2 in both appearance and function. As with Sentry Beams, Ring Burners can be disabled as long as the player stands on one. They cannot be destroyed by any means.
