Tiki Buzzes are members of the Tiki Tak Tribe and enemies that appear in Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. They are tikis shaped like a bongo drum and are nearly the size of Diddy Kong. They have carved black eyeballs, a yellow beak, red wings and brown tail feathers, as well as three beaded strings attached to the bottom.
History
Donkey Kong Country Returns / Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Tiki Buzzes fly in various patterns, with some moving from side to side vertically while others move horizontally. They are harmful if simply touched from the sides or the bottom, but can be defeated with any attack. The Kongs can jump on them to reach higher locations and cross wide gaps. Tiki Buzzes are common in Mine Cart levels, such as Crazy Cart, where the Kongs must often land their Mine Cart on them to reach higher rails. Their behavior is comparable to Neckies from Donkey Kong Country.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
Tiki Buzzes appear as Smash Run enemies in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. Like in Donkey Kong Country Returns, Tiki Buzzes can be defeated when a fighter jumps on them. A Tiki Buzz also appears as a trophy.
WarioWare: Get It Together!
Tiki Buzzes appear in WarioWare: Get It Together! as enemies in the Donkey Kong Country Returns microgame where they must be jumped on. They either fly back and forth or up and down.
