Firebrand and Thunderhand are two beings (described as genies[1] or guardian spirits[2]) that appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions.

Both Firebrand and Thunderhand wear white cloaks and are capable of floating in the air; they always appear in a flash of fire and thunder, respectively. Firebrand's head is styled after a sun, while Thunderhand's head is shaped like a moon crescent. Firebrand is forgetful and easygoing, in contrast with Thunderhand's no-nonsense attitude.
