Manor of Escape is a luck-based Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party 9 and Mario Party Superstars. The name is a pun on "manner of escape."
Introduction
The four players are atop a haunted manor and enter the highest door, which leads them to a lower level of the manor.
Gameplay
The players have to enter doors to get to lower levels of the manor. Only one door on a level leads to the door of the level beneath it, so the other five doors will just lead the player to another door of that level. There is a total of four levels to get through. Once all the players have reached a certain level, the door that led from the level above it will disappear and get blocked off. The first player to reach the lowest level wins. If nobody does so within a certain time limit, the minigame ends in a tie.
