New York Minute is a race course that appears in the Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It is an expanded and combined version of New York Minute, New York Minute 2, and New York Minute 3 from Mario Kart Tour. It is the first course of the Turnip Cup.[1]
It is one of two courses from Mario Kart Tour to appear in the second wave, alongside Template:Classic-link.
Course layout
While the specific layout is yet to be confirmed, the course features portions from New York Minute, such as Central Park and Times Square, and New York Minute 3, such as 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Water-spouting manholes appear near the end of the original New York Minute layout, and Goombas can be seen in Central Park. The gliding section from New York Minute 2 returns, but the ramp does not encompass the width of the track. Additionally, it is shown that the split path with one route facing 30 Rockefeller Plaza and the other going past it, then by it has been opened up, instead of being split across variants like in Tour. The course features numerous more Toads, Yoshis and Shy Guys than its Tour counterpart.
