Template:Species-infobox Cat Bullet Bills are a species of Bullet Bills powered-up by a Super Bell that first appear in Super Mario 3D World. They reappear in its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.

Like normal Bullet Bills, Cat Bullet Bills are fired from Bill Blasters (making a meowing sound effect while doing so). However, unlike normal Bullet Bills, Cat Bullet Bills will lock onto, and follow the player, making them similar to the Missile Bill. However, unlike Missile Bills, Cat Bullet Bills always follow a horizontal path; they cannot travel vertically.

Cat Bullet Bills will sometimes drop a Super Bell when defeated. In the level The Bullet Bill Express, Cat Banzai Bills appear, which act as red Banzai Bills.

In the Bowser's Fury mode of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Cat Bullet Bills are found in Pounce Bounce Isle. Unlike Cat Goombas, Cat Bullet Bills have the same design and behaviour as they do in the main game.

They appear in Super Mario Maker 2 as enemies that can be added to courses, where they replace Bull's-Eye Bills in the Super Mario 3D World theme.

Trivia

  • While a Cat Bullet Bill appeared on the early box art for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, they were removed on the later box art and do not appear in the released game; instead, they were replaced with Bull's-Eye Bills.
