The Plane Glider is an unlockable glider introduced in Mario Kart 8. It offers no stat boosts and is statistically identical to the Super Glider, Wario Wing, Waddle Wing, Gold Glider, and Paper Glider. The glider is shaped like a white shoulder-winged monoplane, decorated with the character's insignia on the edges of the wings.
In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe it is available from the start. CPU Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, and Cat Peach occasionally use this glider whenever they are using the Standard Bike.
The coloration and design of the glider bears a resemblance to the Toad Express from Super Mario Sunshine.
