The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors.
If an acceptable name is found, then the article should be moved to the new title.

Fire Jumping Piranhas are fire breathing versions of Jumping Piranha Plants that first appeared in Super Mario World and its remake.

History

Super Mario World

Fire Jumping Piranhas first appear in Super Mario World where they mainly appear in the level Outrageous. A lone Fire Jumping Piranha is also found in the level Groovy, and another one is found in Funky. They behave a lot like Jumping Piranha Plants except that they can also spit two fireballs similar to Fire Piranha Plants, though a Fire Jumping Piranha's fireball goes in two separate directions. They are rare as there are only seven of them that appear in the entire game.

Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2

Fire Jumping Piranhas reappeared in Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2. As it is a remake of the original, they appear in the same levels.
