Crank to Rank is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 8 and Mario Party: The Top 100.
Introduction[edit]
The four players are seen standing in front of Princess Peach's Castle (which looks like a smaller version of the castle in Super Mario 64). They all cheer before they run over to their respective flagpoles nearby and stand in front of them, with their hands on the wheel handles.
Gameplay[edit]
The four players must crank their flagpoles by swinging in circles or by turning the crank on the Touch Screen by using . The first one to get the flag to the top is the winner. In Mario Party 8, if no one gets their flag to the top within five minutes, the minigame ends in a tie.
This minigame also appears in The Top 100's Decathlon as the sixth minigame.
