Alpine Assault is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 8.
Overview[edit]
The opening shows the player characters preparing as an audience of Goombas cheer them on.
Players race down a hill on snowboards, turning the Wii Remote to steer, while avoiding obstacles like Mr. Blizzards. Players can get a boost off of a ramp by pressing or
and turning. The player who reaches the end first wins, but if all four players end at once or nobody wins by five minutes, it is a tie.
The ending shows the players at the bottom, with their boards. The winner is slightly in front of the other players, and everyone does their winning and losing poses accordingly. If a tie occurs, the player characters all do their losing poses while lined up by player order.
