Punch-a-Bunch is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 8.
Overview[edit]
The opening shows a Bowser Statue suddenly falling in front of the first player as they walk across a bridge.
Each player tries to destroy the Bowser Statue first. Each player uses a boxing glove to attack the Bowser Statue. The glove sometimes becomes larger, giving it stronger punches, though it shrinks after a few seconds. When a player destroys a statue, it explodes, and they win.
The ending shows the winning player stopping on the middle of bridge, doing their victory animation, before proceeding into the woods.
Controls[edit]
- Wii Remote (sideways): Punch
- Buttons: None
In-game text[edit]
- Rules – "Punch the statue to pieces! Throw a punch when the glove swells up to do the most damage."
- Hint – "Don't just punch a lot. It's better to punch only when the glove is largest."
