In the Nick of Time is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 8.
Overview[edit]
In the opening, the first player looks at several clocks in the room, appearing interested in one of them. The big clock's hands spin before stopping at 12.
Players use guide hands while trying to match the clock in the center, and a point goes whomever accomplishes this first, freezing other players' clocks until the next round begins. The player who gets three points wins, but if neither have after ten rounds, it is a tie.
The ending shows the losing players' clock hands spring out. The winner does their victory pose, though the clocks suddenly shake, startling them. In Party Mode, if the results screen remains, the camera shows the door closing on them.

- Hint – "Slow down your rotation when you get close to the correct time so you don't pass it up!"
