Tim and Chris Stamper, more commonly known collectively as the Stamper brothers, are a duo of British entrepreneurs that founded the companies Ultimate Play the Game and Rare. The brothers have been involved in developing many games in the Donkey Kong franchise. The brothers left Rare in 2007.[1]
The brothers were born and raised in England. Chris is the elder of the duo, being born in 1958, while Tim was born in 1961.[citation needed]
