She has since appeared in other Animal Crossing games and, due to her popularity, crossed over to other Nintendo series like the Super Mario franchise.
History
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U
Isabelle appears in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U as an Assist Trophy. She tosses fruit at the player that summoned her, which will heal them when touched. Opponents can also be healed, but they must manually grab the fruit. She can't be attacked, but she will flinch when opponents get to close. If the player that summoned Isabelle is knocked out, she will hunch over with a saddened expression until they return. In addition, an Isabelle costume for the Mii Fighters will be released as DLC.
Mario Kart 8
Isabelle makes an appearance in Mario Kart 8 as one of the characters included in the Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 downloadable content pack, marking the first time she is playable in any game.[1] She is one of the heavier lightweights in the game. As such, her acceleration, handling, and grip stats are lowered a little to boost her speed and weight, her stats are identical to those of Toad, Koopa Troopa, Shy Guy, Lakitu, Toadette, Larry, and Wendy. Her signature vehicle is the City Tripper. Like the other lightweights she has a small body frame.

Isabelle makes yet another appearance in Super Mario Maker. Should the player scan an Isabelle amiibo with the Wii U's Gamepad, the sprite of Mario will be replaced with a sprite of Isabelle. This only applies in levels using the Super Mario Bros. graphical style.
