The Starting Planet is easily the largest planet in the Fluffy Bluff Galaxy. It features a large expanse of land and multiple grassy stone mountains. This planet also has a large pond of water and some small buildings and gardens with flowers and trees. A tree on a small island can be seen near the starting area, on the top of which is a Sling Star leading to a large cloud and a Hungry Luma. From here, if they still have clouds left they can long jump straight to the Stone mountains planet by passing the Pond planet. Next to the base of the tree is a Warp Pipe that leads the player to a secret area where they must collect a ? Coin, followed by more regular coins in various different formations. Near the middle of the planet lies a wide valley, at the center of which is a Black Hole. Several clouds floating over this valley can be used as platforms to successfully reach the other side. At the end of the valley is a small field and a cliff face comprised of planks, which the player must Wall Jump up to reach the Launch Star at the top. Cloud Flowers appear prominently on this planet, which is where they are first encountered. Flaptacks and Elite Octoombas are prominent in this area.

This small planet is covered by a large, shallow pond of water. There is a small piece of grass on one of the planet's sides of and a wood platform on the other side. A Cloud Flower can be used to find a Comet Medal here. There are also five yellow Star Chips that must be collected to reform a Launch Star over the platform. The Planet is inhabited by Cosmic Clones that mimic the player's actions.

This large planet, very similar to the starting planet, has a rectangular piece of grass and a cliff of dirt that the player must climb to get to the upper part where they can find a field with a pond and some large trees. Far away from this piece of land, there is a set of floating rocky mountains with grassy tops that can only be accessed with the clouds spread in the air. A Black Hole is found in the middle of the two lands. There are some rising clouds as well as Sliding Stones.

This planet can be reached by feeding a Hungry Luma 100 coins on the Starting Planet. It is a very tall triangular tower with clouds and platforms. The player must use the Cloud Flower to reach the top. Also the player can go to the other side of the tower which contains coins, two 1-Up Mushrooms, and a Sling Star that sends the player to the highest area with coins and a Cloud Flower. A replica of this planet appears in the Chompworks Galaxy, but there is a Spring Mushroom provided to get to the top instead of a Cloud Flower, making it more difficult to reach the top.
It is the home to the Secret Star of this galaxy.

Search for the Toad Brigade Captain
This mission begins with the player arriving on the Starting planet. They will find the Blue Toad of the Brigade wondering where the Toad Brigade Captain is. In order to find him, the player must walk forward to find a Cloud Flower next to a Whittle. The player must use the Cloud Flower to create cloud platforms and get on top of the structure to the left, and then walk along it to find a vertical cliff face, which they must also ascend using clouds from the Cloud Flower.
Once at the top of the cliff, the player will see some slightly larger floating cloud platforms spanning a chasm that can only be reached by using a Long Jump, or by creating clouds in the gaps between them. Below the chasm is a wide open expanse with a Black Hole in its center. Before crossing the expanse, the player should touch the Checkpoint Flag. A Tip Network TV found before the chasm is able to give the player advice on crossing the gap with the Cloud Flower. They must now jump across the existing cloud platforms, as well as any that they create by spinning, to reach the other side of the gap. On the other side, there is another Toad and a Launch Star, which the player must reach by Wall Jumping up a small opening in the cliff.
The Launch Star takes the player to the Pond Planet. Once on the Pond planet, the player has to collect the five Star Chips scattered around the planet to reform the next Launch Star, while simultaneously evading the imitating actions of three clones that appear on the planet. The galaxy's Comet Medal also appears hovering above this planet, which can be reached by backwards somersaulting and spinning (or by using any leftover cloud platforms if available). After collecting the five required Star Chips, the Cosmic Clones disappear and the player can freely take the Launch Star to the Stone Mountains Planet.
There, the player will find another Checkpoint Flag, as well as the Cosmic Spirit (if the player loses enough lives later). The player now needs to climb another cliff with the help of the Cloud Flower, while also evading Sliding Stones to reach the top, where they will find a small field with a waterfall, some flowers, and a large tree. The player must go to the top of that tree using the swinging trapeze found hanging from one of its branches and the Cloud Flower. Once atop the tree, the player will find the Toad Brigade Captain, who tells them that The Chimp challenged him to a race. Now, the player must track down The Chimp by crossing an extense gap filled with clouds leading away from the top of the tree. Using these clouds, as well as the Cloud Flower, the player should be able to cross the gap relatively quickly and easily. After crossing the void, a group of mountains can be seen, and on one that's surrounded by a cloud ring, waits The Chimp. Impressed by the player's skill at reaching him, The Chimp rewards them with a Power Star, and says he will see them later.

The Chimp's Stomp Challenge
In this mission, the player must stomp on multiple enemies within the time limit of two minutes to beat The Chimp's high score of 10,000. If the player matches or beats The Chimp's score, then the Power Star will be theirs. One enemy stomped is worth 100 points, two enemies stomped in a row is worth 200, and three enemies stomped in row are worth 300. Any enemies stomped in a row after three are worth 300. Coins are worth 100, Star Bits are worth 10 and a Life Mushroom or a 1-Up Mushroom is worth 1,000. This mission is not available at first. When the player has collected 15 Power Stars, Mailtoad will receive a letter from The Chimp, and the player is able to play this mission.

Every Planet Has Its Price
This mission is a hidden star, and is accessed via the Search for the Toad Brigade Captain mission. After the player finds the Cloud Flower on the small circular 'island' in the pond, they must use it to reach the top of the nearby tree, where a Sling Star is located. This will sling the player onto a large cloud, where they will find a Hungry Luma, and a ? Coin which will reveal 4 lines of 10 coins each, suggesting that the Hungry Luma is looking for coins, rather than Star Bits. After that, the player should go behind the tree that they were standing directly above. There will be a room with a ? Coin. The player should get as many coins as they can, as the Hungry Luma wants 100 coins. When the Hungry Luma is fed, he will turn into a pink Launch Star, which will then launch the player to the Cloud Tower Planet. The planet consists of wooden blocks sticking out of a tall building with a pointed top, and moving clouds, which move in either horizontal or vertical directions. Near the top are two rotating hexagonal logs. The star is located at the very top of the tower.

Trivia
- The Pond Planet was originally going to be a lot smaller than its final appearance, as shown in the E3 2009 trailer.
- This is the only galaxy in World 1 without a Prankster Comet (Besides the Green Comet).
