The Big Boo is a boss who appears in Super Mario World. It is a translucent white Big Boo and secret villain of the game.

Super Mario World

The Big Boo is a hidden boss found in the Secret Donut Plains Ghost House.[1] It has two normal Boos accompanying it in battle. Big Boo flies at Mario or Luigi to injure it when it is visible, so Mario has to throw a Grab Block at it to defend itself. Once hurt, it is invincible while moving somewhere else and reappearing. The Big Boo can be defeated by throwing Grab Blocks at its face three times. Once The Big Boo is defeated, the new path to Star World is shown.

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3

The Big Boo reappears in the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario Bros. 3, again as a boss who Mario has to fight against. It appears only in the e-Reader's scanned level Doors o' Plenty where it plays the same role to that of Super Mario World.
