At the Chomp Wash is a 4-Player minigame that appears in Mario Party 8 and Mario Party: The Top 100. The name of this minigame is based on the phrase "At the car wash."
Introduction[edit]
A character is painting the house of their pet Chain Chomp, who is tied to a post near the house. The Chain Chomp sees a butterfly and chases it, running over buckets full of paint. The buckets fall over and get some paint on the Chain Chomp.
Gameplay[edit]
The character uses a sponge to clean the dirty Chain Chomp. There are five spots of paint that cover it, and the player must clean all of them to win. After the player cleans a spot of paint on the Chain Chomp, it turns around to where there is another spot of paint. The player that cleans all the spots of paint first wins. In Mario Party 8, if no player finishes within five minutes, the minigame ends in a tie.
