Richard "Rick" Jones is a Canadian voice actor, voice director, writer and content developer. He was the voice actor of Polly Roger in the Donkey Kong Country television series.
Jones originally obtained an undergraduate degree in biology and worked on a thesis in geology, during which he discovered two new species of microfossil.[1] A friend of Jones who was working at Carleton university radio station asked Jones to do a voice for an advertisement,[1] which later led to the start of his career. Jones has worked for Alphanim, Cinar, and Nelvana, and has been nominated for a Gemini Award twice, in 1988 and 2003.[2]
