Like normal Banzai Bills, Cat Banzai Bills are fired from Banzai Bill Cannons. However, unlike normal Banzai Bills, they will lock onto and follow the player, being very similar to Bull's-Eye Banzais in this sense. Also, unlike normal Banzai Bills, Cat Banzai Bills are colored white on their lower half, instead of being completely black, making them resemble a Bicolor cat. They will sometimes drop a Super Bell when defeated. They make their only appearance in The Bullet Bill Express.

Cat Banzai Bills reappear in Super Mario Maker 2, where they are enemies that can be placed in the Super Mario 3D World style. Unlike their normal counterparts, they cannot be set to fire from the background. They replace Bull's-Eye Banzais from the other game styles.
Cat Banzai Bills return as course elements in the Super Mario 3D World style of Super Mario Maker 2, replacing Bull's-Eye Banzais, but cannot be set to fire from the background, unlike their counterparts.

Cat Banzai Bills, or Cat Bomber Bills,[1] are Banzai Bills under the effects of a Super Bell. Their lower half is white, reminiscent of a tuxedo cat. Cat Banzai Bills first appear in Super Mario 3D World and its port. They are launched from Banzai Bill Cannons and can lock on to the player character, like Bull's-Eye Banzais. Cat Banzai Bills sometimes drop a Super Bell upon defeat. Cat Banzai Bills are the game's only cat enemies that do not make any meowing sounds.

Cat Banzai Bills make their first and only appearance in The Bullet Bill Express of World 3, earlier than Banzai Bills, which debut in Mystery House Mad Dash of World 4.

Cat Banzai Bills return as course elements in the Super Mario 3D World style of Super Mario Maker 2, replacing Bull's-Eye Banzais, but cannot be set to fire from the background, unlike their counterparts.
