Sprite Bulbs are tiny sprites containing Connectar energy that appear in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Their bodies are full of Lumenade, which is used to create Battle Plugs. Sprite Bulbs are found by pulling them out of glowing bushes in the field and then collecting them as they fly around. Luigi can use Luigi Logic to catch them faster. Some Sprite Bulb bushes only appear at later points in the game. Their names are a play on "lightbulb" as with their Glohm-ridden counterparts, the Spite Bulbs.
When Sprite Bulbs are cut off from their Connectar stimulus, they become Spite Bulbs which are used to create Glohm. Gobblick, Sharpcask, and Pipegunk each swallow Spite Bulbs to power themselves up, and when they are defeated, the Spite Bulbs revert to regular Sprite Bulbs.
