Hidden Character Blocks,[1] also referred to as invisible character blocks,[2] are a type of block in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. They act much like Hidden Blocks, except that they become visible when a specific playable character approaches them, as signified by them sporting a specific background color and the character's emblem. Even when they are hit and become an Empty Block, they retain the character emblem they had initially. They appear in a multitude of levels, though they are most frequently utilized in most of the Search Party levels.
