Pole Blocks are blocks that appear in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. They produce a pole that extends in a fixed direction when hit (depending on the alignment of the block's stripes) and slowly retracts after some time has passed. During a Wonder Effect, some Pole Blocks are solid purple with a pulsating effect, and they will activate on their own, producing a randomly-assorted set of poles instead.
