Wario Land 3 is one of 18-Volt's microgames in WarioWare Gold. It is based on the Game Boy Color game of the same name. The microgame takes place in the level The Tidal Coast.

Gameplay[edit]

The player must control Bubble Wario as he travels up a water current to collect a Musical Coin while avoiding spikes. Wario floats upward relative to the orientation of the Nintendo 3DS, though there are maximum angles that prevent Wario from floating back down in the water current. There are spikes in the way. Touching any spike pops Wario's bubble and fails the microgame. Bubble Wario is slow, so if the player steers too much Wario will not be able to reach the Musical Coin in time.

  • 1st level difficulty: There is only one small row of spikes.
  • 2nd level difficulty: There are many rows of spikes or a small amount of erratically-placed spikes throughout the area.
  • 3rd level difficulty: There are erratically-placed spikes throughout the area or many rows of spikes, creating a maze-like path that requires more twisting to traverse.
