XYZ is one of Penny's microgames in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. It also appears in WarioWare Gold as one of Kat & Ana's microgames. Its name comes from an expression which stands for "examine your zipper".

Gameplay[edit]

The player has to zip up by moving the hand over the zipper and following the path.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves[edit]

  • 1st level difficulty: There is a vertical zip. The player zips up a man's panda costume. If the game is won, the kids become amazed looking at the man in the panda costume.
  • 2nd level difficulty: There is a horizontal zip. The player zips up a boy's mouth. If the game is won, multiple dots appear as the boy can no longer speak.
  • 3rd level difficulty: There is a zigzag zip. The player zips up the head of Frankenstein's monster. If the game is won, The monster looks at the screen and thunder flashes.

WarioWare Gold[edit]

In WarioWare Gold, this microgame has the player drag the slider with the stylus over the the teeth. It is possible to move backward, but not after a zipper has been fully zipped up. Moving too far from a slider deselects it. The directions of each zipper is variable.

  • 1st level difficulty: There is one zipper in a straight line. The player zips up a man's fly.
  • 2nd level difficulty: There are two zippers in parallel lines, and one always has the opposite direction of the other. The player zips up the man's sleeve.
  • 3rd level difficulty: There are two zippers. One is a straight line, the other is curved in the direction moving away from the first zipper. The player zips up a portion of Frankenstein's monster.
