Power Outage is one of Dr. Crygor's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted! and returns in WarioWare Gold as one of Ashley & Red's microgames.

Gameplay[edit]

The game's purpose is to light all the candles found. To do so, the player has to rotate a flame until it reaches the top of another candle. If done so, the game is won.

  • 1st level difficulty: There is one candle to light.
  • 2nd level difficulty: There is either one candle that requires more twisting to light, or there are two candles to light.
  • 3rd level difficulty: There are either two candles that require more twisting to light, or there are three candles to light.

In WarioWare Gold, cave hand paintings or Egyptian wall paintings appear if the player wins the microgame.

Trivia[edit]

  • In WarioWare Gold, the art revealed when the player beats a microgame appear to reference Orbulon (or rather, his species). For example, one cave painting shows various hand prints, including one that bears a resemblance to Orbulon's, an Egyptian wall painting features creatures that bear a resemblance to him, and another cave painting appears to show Orbulon in his Oinker abducting a mysterious figure.
  • In WarioWare: Twisted!, the music's BPM is incorrect, leading to a brief silence near the end of the microgame.
