Variant of Shy Guy

Bomb Guys are enemies that appear in Yoshi's Woolly World and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World in the levels Shy but Deadly, Naval Piranha's Sewer, and King Bowser's Castle. They are a species of Shy Guy that throws an infinite amount of bombs in the direction of Yoshi. Bomb Guys are completely stationary and usually found on Yoshi's path or on top of a Shy Guy tower. In the boss fight with Naval Piranha, Bomb Guys appear out of pipes in the background and throw bombs at the player in the foreground. Yoshi can eat the bombs and carry them in its mouth, then spit them out at enemies and other objects to destroy them.

Bomb Guys can hurt Yoshi by hitting him with a bomb. Yoshi will also be hurt if he touches a Bomb Guy from the front or back sides. To defeat a Bomb Guy, Yoshi can attack it with a bomb, simply jump on it, or turn it into a Yarn Ball by eating it.

One Bomb Guy appears in the credits, where it chases Poochy around the Moon, and its bomb ends up detonating in front of Baby Bowser, sending him flying off.
