Little Fungitown is an immigrant Toad community built on giant Mushrooms in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its Nintendo 3DS version. The place is located at the far end of Teehee Valley, and the Mario Bros. have to cross Teehee Valley to get here. According to one local Toad, the community is built over a giant mushroom known as the Great Mountain Mushroom.

Little Fungitown is the first town in the Super Mario franchise to have an operating actual hospital in the Little Fungitown Embassy. A Toad doctor works at said hospital, aided by Psycho Kamek (replaced by Dr. Toadley in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions). The town also has an arcade, and all the various shops and residences resemble mushrooms, much like Toad Houses in other games. Hidden away in the southern part of town, Warp Pipe #7 (#9 in the remake) can be used to traverse to Little Fungitown without having to cross the treacherous Teehee Valley.

During the game's events, Mario and Luigi beat the high score in the Star 'Stache Smash minigame and win an Invincishroom (revealed in Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser to actually be a misidentified Poison Mushroom) as a prize. Mario eats said mushroom, causing him to get Bean Fever, which is then diagnosed by the Toad doctor. Psycho Kamek (or Dr. Toadley in the remake) help hypnotize Luigi into believing he is Mario, so he can gain bravery to retrieve the cure for Mario's Bean Fever: Crabbie Grass. The barrel minigame is here too, which is available after the S.S. Chuckola sinks. Invisible blocks are here containing Hoo Beans. When Luigi gets out of Guffawha Ruins, he comes out of a pipe in a top corner of Little Fungitown, where he discovers that Bowletta has kidnapped Princess Peach. Popple is also eventually sentenced to community service in Little Fungitown after being launched out of the depths of Teehee Valley by Birdo.

In the remake's Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser side-game, Little Fungitown appears in the mission Toad Rescue, where Morton and a group of Fire Bros. are found attacking the town. The minions must then battle Morton.
