Blablanadon is a pterosaur-like creature who helps Mario and Luigi get to the top of Hoohoo Mountain in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. In the beginning, Blablanadon is absent. Instead, the brothers have to hike up to the top of the mountain where they find the Blablanadon hatching a large egg he found. The egg actually turned out to contain Dragohoho, who attacked the brothers. Dragohoho, it turned out, was really Prince Peasley changed by Fawful's magic. When Dragohoho was defeated, Prince Peasley reverted back to his usual self. After that point, Blablanadon offered to fly the Mario brothers to the top of Hoohoo Mountain at any time. After the Mario Bros.' quest in Joke's End, Bowletta attacked the Beanbean Kingdom from Bowser's Castle. Mario and Luigi had to hitch a ride on Blablanadon to get to Bowser's Castle.

Blablanadon is a pterosaur-like character who assists Mario and Luigi a few times during the events of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions.

Blablanadon normally lives in a nest over at Hoohoo Village. The Mario brothers do not find Blablanadon at his usual spot, however, because Blablanadon is asleep on Hoohoo Mountain, where the brothers discover him. Blablanadon is asleep on a large egg next to a Hoohoo Block, though Dragohoho hatches from the egg and knocks Blablanadon away. After the boss battle, Dragohoho is revealed to be actually Prince Peasley, who had been transformed by Fawful's magic.

Blablanadon, back at his nest, allows the Mario Bros. to travel to the top of Hoohoo Mountain whenever they desire. The Mario Bros. ride Blablanadon on a second occasion, during their travel to Bowser's Castle, where Bowletta attacks the Beanbean Kingdom from after Mario and Luigi have completed Joke's End; from hereon, Blablanadon no longer offers rides to the top of Hoohoo Mountain, so Mario and Luigi can only get to the top as they did earlier, before they fought Dragohoho.

There is a third and final time when Mario and Luigi can ride Blablanadon, and that is during their escape from Bowser's Castle after it had been detonated by Prince Peasley.

Blablanadon's name is a portmanteau of "blah blah blah", a rude phrase that mocks endless talking, and "Pteranodon", a type of pterosaur.
