At the Chomp Wash is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 8 and Mario Party: The Top 100. The title is a play on the phrase "at the car wash."

Overview

At the Chomp Wash from Mario Party: The Top 100
Gameplay from Mario Party: The Top 100

The opening shows a Chain Chomp being tied to a post next to the doghouse, being painted by a player character. When the Chain Chomp sees a butterfly, it tries to chase it, accidentally spilling paint buckets in the process that cover it with some paint.

Players try to clean five spots of paint off of their Chain Chomp before time is up. When a spot is cleaned, the Chain Chomp turns, showing another spot to clean. The player who cleans every spot first wins, though in Mario Party 8, if none of the players fulfill the objective by five minutes, the result is a tie.

The ending shows the Chain Chomp jumping up and down, barking happily as the winner does their victory pose.
