The Mega Kantera (メガカンテラ[1], "Mega Lantern") is a single gigantic Lantern Ghost appearing in Bandit Valley with a Tetu Kantera in Yoshi's New Island. Like most enemies, moving into the Mega Kantera causes Yoshi to lose Baby Mario, and if Yoshi jumps on the Mega Kantera, he bounces off. The Mega Kantera can swallowed to become a Mega Eggdozer, like with a Mega Guy and Tetu Kantera, though since the latter is nearby, Yoshi can use the resulting Metal Eggdozer to defeat Mega Kantera instead.
