==Gameplay==
Each player shoots five cards with the aim of getting the most points. The number on a card can be either 5, 10, 20, 30, or 50, but there is a ×2 multiplier card, as well as ×0, which resets their score entirely. The minigame ends after every card has fallen. Any player with the most points, the highest possible one being 800, wins. If both players end with the same score in the Duel variation, it is a tie.
Each player must shoot five cards from a falling deck and try to get the highest score. The cards flip repetitively, and the number on the card (and therefore the point value) is visible for only a short while. The numbers are 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, x2 (which doubles the player's current score), and x0 (which reduces the player's total score to zero). The x cards are multipliers. A timer is not visible while the game is in progress, but as soon as the last of the cards fall off-screen, the game ends; afterwards, the value in the cards gets added up or multiplied. Whoever has the most points wins the minigame. The most points a player can get is 800, obtained by hitting a 50 first and then x2's for the other four, or by hitting two 50s first and three x2's after.

In ''Mario Party: The Top 100'', the cards descend noticeably faster.
The minigame ends with the winners (including second-place players in ''Mario Party: The Top 100'') doing their animations for winning, while each loser does their animation. In the event of a tie in ''Mario Party 8'', every player does their losing animation.

==Ending==
Its name is a pun on a phrase meaning "what one wants to accomplish."
Winning players (as well as second place players in ''The Top 100'') will perform their respective victory poses, while any losing players will sulk beside them.

Mario Party: The Top 100:

Aim of the Game is a Battle and Duel minigame in Mario Party 8 and a Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party: The Top 100.

Overview[edit]

Aim of the Game from Mario Party: The Top 100
Gameplay from Mario Party: The Top 100

The minigame opens in a casino, where cards are released from a top hat.[1]

Each player shoots five cards with the aim of getting the most points. The number on a card can be either 5, 10, 20, 30, or 50, but there is a ×2 multiplier card, as well as ×0, which resets their score entirely. The minigame ends after every card has fallen. Any player with the most points, the highest possible one being 800, wins. If both players end with the same score in the Duel variation, it is a tie.

The minigame ends with the winners (including second-place players in Mario Party: The Top 100) doing their animations for winning, while each loser does their animation. In the event of a tie in Mario Party 8, every player does their losing animation.

Its name is a pun on a phrase meaning "what one wants to accomplish."
