The Piranha Suit is gear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. Its traits differ considerably between the two games and the former game's regional releases; the only consistency is that it is an enemy drop.

In the original game's Japanese release, it is only wearable by Luigi. It boosts DEF by 60 points and has the HP-Auto Gain effect, recovering 2 HP every turn. It is a guaranteed drop from Ludwig after defeating him, and can be sold for 100 coins.
