Cat Banzai Bills, or Cat Bomber Bills,[1] are Banzai Bills powered-up by a Super Bell, first appearing in Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.
Like normal Banzai Bills, Cat Banzai Bills are fired from Banzai Bill Cannons. However, unlike normal Banzai Bills, they will lock onto and follow the player, being very similar to Bull's-Eye Banzais in this sense. Also, unlike normal Banzai Bills, Cat Banzai Bills are colored white on their lower half, instead of being completely black, making them resemble a tuxedo cat. They will sometimes drop a Super Bell when defeated. They make their only appearance in The Bullet Bill Express.
Cat Banzai Bills reappear in Super Mario Maker 2, where they are enemies that can be placed in the Super Mario 3D World style. Unlike their normal counterparts, they cannot be set to fire from the background. They replace Bull's-Eye Banzais from the other game styles.
