'''Honeycomb Havoc''' is a 4-player mini-game found in ''[[Mario Party 2]]''. The player has to count and grab one of the fruits by hitting a slow dice block and getting either a one or two each time as the players have to avoid the honeycomb. There are some [[coins]] if players risk grabbing them. If a player gets a honeycomb, the bees will come out and sting the player out of the mini-game, and the last player standing without ever getting the honeycomb wins.

When there are only two players left in the game, a player may guarantee themselves a win by always leaving a multiple of three fruits (not counting the honeycomb) for the other player.
The players are standing in front of a giant tree that contains [[beehive|honeycomb]]s, [[fruit]]s, and (in the ''Mario Party 2'' version only) [[coin]]s. Honeycomb Havoc is a 4-Player minigame found in Mario Party 2, Mario Party: The Top 100, and Mario Party Superstars. It is a variation of the classic game nim.

Gameplay[edit]

The players are standing in front of a giant tree that contains honeycombs, fruits, and (in the Mario Party 2 version only) coins. The player has to catch fruit in their basket by hitting a slow Dice Block and getting either a 1 or 2 each time. However, players have to avoid the honeycombs. When a player gets a honeycomb, some bees come out and chase the player out of the minigame. If a player hits a 2 on the Dice Block but gets a honeycomb first, only the honeycomb will count while the fruit or coin will remain on the tree for the next player. The last player standing wins.

In the Mini-Game Coaster, the human player has to avoid getting a honeycomb to win.

The minigame can be purchased from Woody for 150 coins.

  • In Mario Party 2 and Mario Party: The Top 100, there is a glitch that happens when a player rolls a 2 on the Dice Block.
